Salve From Herbal Oil

1. For each cup of prepared HERB oil, use ¼ Cup of finely grated beeswax.

2. Over double boiler (just simmering water) Add beeswax to oil and stir until beeswax has dissolved completely.

3. Test the consistency of your salve by placing a spoonful onto a plate and placing it in the freezer for several minutes. Place your finger into the salve to ascertain if it is as hard or soft as you want it. It should melt with the temperature of your finger but not be runny. Add more beeswax if it is too soft; more oil if too hard. DON’T SKIP THIS STEP.

4. Pour into salve containers. May add several drop Essential Oil to each container for fragrance. Use only Essential Oil.  Store in cool place.
